The movie had a very outdated feeling. It is nowhere near Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Karobaar, Mujhe Meri Biwi Se Bachao, and Meri Biwi Ka Jawab Nahin, but it is outdated. If this movie was nominated for a Razzie, I'd make sure it won Worst Excuse for an Actual Movie. Nothing made sense, let alone the characters had no meaning. The cinematography is not at all outdated, but the songs completely are. My favorite song was Sarse Sarak Gayee but it's between the best and worst song I have ever heard. Then to have Aishwarya Rai not to be dancing to that song made me mad. Don't get me wrong, Namrata Shirodkar does do a little something to save me from the disappointment. Namrata Shirodkar does bring life into her character though I wish that she talked rather than Govinda in their conversations. If you came for Aishwarya Rai, you'll be talking about Namrata after wards. Aishwarya Rai basically is a random girl the directors used as a show piece for every scene playing with her outfits or hair. Her dress up crew took advantage of that, and gave her the weirdest wardrobe ever (though she looks pretty). Jackie Shroff is just there. He does good acting but I never noticed him. Govinda just gets on your nerves. He isn't a good actor and if he is, he needs to work harder. The movie (also the movies I mentioned above) don't have a reason for being outdated because there was Josh that took four years to make and it turned out to be one of my favorite movies (not once outdated). I saw this movie for Aishwarya Rai but she can be forgiven because it's her practically her fourth movie.
